Projects
The following are some of Nexus Technology's larger projects:
- Guilford County Schools - supported a variety of educators at the elementary and middle school levels with high speed wireless Internet access, classroom laptops, printers, Kindle e-book readers, and Kindle e-book library in excess of 700 titles.
- Tell the Word - digitized more than a half-century of sermons delivered by Gordon Cosby and others at Church of the Saviour in Washington, DC. Developed online index and distribution system. Church of the Saviour has since incorporated this project into their Inward/Outward initiative. (more about COS and Inward/Outward)
- Community Housing Solutions (formerly Housing Greensboro) - developed system to manage project data from client intake through project completion and reporting. (more about CHS)
- Greensboro Urban Ministry - developed Information Technology Plan addressing program data and donor data management; communications and information sharing with Board, volunteers and supporters; web presence; wide area networking and remote access to office systems.
- Neighborhood Ecological Stewardship Training - developed online collaboration portal for planning and leading hands-on workshops about natural resources.
- Kirkwood Homeowners Association - developed online system to manage homeowner directory, dues collection and communications.
- North Carolina Head Start Association - developed statewide information system to connect statewide association of Head Start grantees. Designed and produced semi-annual newsletter for Association members.
- Guilford Child Development - provided computers, highest quality educational software, and training to Head Start Centers, teachers and administrative personnel. Helped centers establish high speed, wireless Internet connections. (more about GCD)
- North Carolina Presbyterian Pilgrimage - developed online information and coordination system to support rapidly growing statewide Christian movement. (more about NCPP)
